Welcome

Hello, welcome to my small digital archive of documents the pertain to race relations at Trinity Washington University during the Civil Rights Movement. During the summer of 2016 I was given the chance to look through my college's archive and study what it was like for African American students to come to a mainly white college.

The documents on this site come from various different sources like the Black Student Council, Black Experience Research Committee, and the Trinity Times. These documents tell the story of students and faculty who had different opinions on African American students.

My hope is that this site can help people understand the different kind of situations former students faced and honor them by looking at these documents. Thank you.
